Our story

PICHCHRAPA is the studio of a family of actors. Here the artists are not only on screen; behind the camera, they are the same people.

One family, one unit

A family of actors trained at Indian Films Academy, run by their own teacher. PICHCHRAPA is this family's studio.

What makes it special: the actors are also the writers, the directors, the editors, the DI colourists and the music-makers. At the moment no outside person is brought in for any of the work.

This platform exists so that after learning acting, no artist has to run from door to door or beg for work. They stand on their own feet, make their own work and show it to the world.

How the work happens

Each series' story, direction, editing, colour and music are done by the family's artists themselves. Filmy Adalat was our first web series. Today Raja Ka Baja arrives every day, and new series like Gapistaan are coming out of this same family.

Behind the scenes

Editing, colour and sound are done by the family's own artists in their own studio. We do not depend on any outside editor or colourist.

Yogesh Chaitanya is an acting teacher, director and actor, and the founder of Indian Films Academy. PICHCHRAPA's artists are actors he has trained.
